Teresa is a Certified Club Manager with over 25 years of experience in the Private Club industry and currently serves as our Club Operations/F&B Consultant. Teresa held the dual position of Clubhouse Manager and Events Coordinator for Hope Valley Country Club in Durham, NC for 15 years, successfully maintaining a profitable F&B Department with revenues in excess of $1.5 million throughout her tenure. Teresa served as Director of Club Operations for McConnell Golf for 7 years where she was responsible for coordinating the Food & Beverage teams for all of the company’s facilities while also serving as General Manager for various properties, including The Cardinal Golf & Country Club (now Sedgefield Country Club “Dye Course”), The Old North State Club and The Members Club at Grande Dunes (Myrtle Beach). Throughout her tenure with McConnell Golf, Teresa was involved in the assessment and assimilation process of each newly acquired club’s management team, most specifically in the areas of F&B/Event Planning, HR and general education of the company’s mission and standards, and she also served as Editor-in-Chief for the McConnell Golf Magazine. Most recently, Teresa held the position of General Manager at Sapona Ridge Country Club, a PGP managed facility. Teresa is a graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and has completed graduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. Teresa is a member of the Carolinas Chapter of CMAA (Club Manager’s Association of America) since 1995 and has served as Public Relations Chair and on the Board of Directors, earning her CCM designation in 2002. Teresa resides in Greensboro and is an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Gold’s Gym and various Culinary Clubs.
